System skills
Working as part of a close knit finance team, you will get vast exposure across the business from day one. You will deputise for the Finance Director when necessary and will feel confident leading the team through their day to day duties. You will take ownership for the month end process, and will be able to instigate process improvements and streamline the overall finance function of the division.
Main duties
-Timely production of relevant monthly financial information
-Reconciliation of control accounts records and balance sheets
-Delivering the monthly, quarterly and year end reporting/forecasting cycle
-Monitoring of results against budgets and forecasts
-Keep point of contact for all financial control
-Prepare and submit weekly and monthly cash forecasts
-Partner with the Finance Director to ensure performance is optimised
-Provide year end statutory information to Group Finance
-Day to day management of accounts function
-Engaging with projects across the business
-System development
-Assisting with process improvements

A social networking platform is looking for TWO SENIOR ADVERTISING SALES EXECUTIVES within London to join their team.
The Senior Sales Executives will be directly responsible for bringing in new clients.
The Role
This is a senior advertising sales role, working across all of the key client's portfolio, this position provides the opportunity to sell direct to the UK's largest consumer brand manufacturers and their agencies. This is a unique opportunity to sell direct to the UK's crème de la crème in consumer marketing. It requires new business development with time being spent out of the office pitching for business and building relationships. This is a highly strategic sales role requiring a creative and structured approach to all aspects of the sales process.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be experienced, pro-active and capable of working strategically and autonomously across a portfolio of client. They will have a strong work ethic with a positive and hungry attitude towards winning new business and maximising the potential from existing accounts.
Experience
Professional and experienced sales person with existing media sales experience in magazines and digital. Ideally from a newsstand or customer magazine, who is looking for a senior role where they will have the opportunity to build upon their existing skills and contacts.

Role overview
